First Photoshop run
I found Photoshop on an old computer and started exploring. The same year, I took a class on Photoshop and web design. I built up my basic foundations for Photoshop and HTML.

After about a year of fairly informal Photoshop and HTML/CSS training, I created my very first web design for a project I started with another friend of mine. Unfortunately, our project was unsuccessful and we decided to discontinue it.
I was proficient enough in design to do some simple freelancing - so I created created signatures and avatars for other members's forum idenities. This helped me improve my technical skill and learn to work well with clients.
I attended an iOS hackathon with a few others. We created an app called ClassMap which won the award for the best educational app. I designed the UI elements and the app icon, and also helped to code some of the front-end elements.
My portfolio website was featured on its first design blog, Flat Trendz, which is a website showcasing the best uses of the flat design trend. It was then featured again on multiple other websites like One Page Love and Best CSS.
